I'm just wondering if my issue would have something to do with the fact that I use a custom mesh in SimPE for the gmdc and fix integrity + linking stage while other people might use a Maxis outfit as base for the new mesh. But for all I know the clothes meshes I converted aren't corrupted, or nothing would show up properly Bodyshop, on an ingame lot (I guess). But now if you tell me that about the loading screen snapshot image of a Sim, not much can be done, I'll accept it as well.

I noticed otherwise from other people's conversions, that some converted hairs might also be replaced with Maxis or bald scalp in the Loading screen image of a Sim, while again all is correct in Bodyshop and otherwise the CAS catalogue for hair. When I say "naked" it can also be body parts cut off, just as I do for some meshes in Milkshape sometimes for the waist, female breast, armpits, etc. But it's just the loading screen Sim image naked which is rather annoying me now. I also always check back the Milkshape groups and comments and then again in SimPE for the subsets sections, and I found no mistakes.Īgain, no problem at all otherwise with my clothes conversions, they show up in Bodyshop correctly, I can retexture, etc. Other than this when I add to an outfit also new shoes (even converted from S4 or 3), those shoes show up reallyu fine. I don't know if I missed something in the SimPE process or in Graphic rules (memory etc.). Rarely with other people's clothes conversions. The problem is that the loading screen image of my Sim is only and often with my own conversions. For some reason choosing Maxis to clone as new mesh to edit in Milkshape has as result that once created, the custom mesh doesn't get applied.

Usually, for my own work and projects I would use a custom clothing mesh to clone and add the new SimPE file to GMDC. While my new mesh and recolour show up perfectly well in Bodyshop and also the CAS catalogue (to create a Sim before putting on a lot), the fact is that the "snapshot" image of the Sim, also in the ingame catalogue, might show up naked instead of wearing my Sims 4 converted clothes. The issue I got is only with Sims 4 clothes I converted myself. I have looked everywhere via Google for help with the main keywords Loading screen, CAS, Sims 2 and found nothing on my issue.
